The Art Space
The Terrace Art Space is a non-profit platform harnessing the power of art to challenge perspectives, bring people together, and inspire meaningful, long-term change. It centers the voices and lived experiences of youth, women, and structurally marginalized groups, not as beneficiaries, but as cultural leaders and change-makers.
Through our broad, multidisciplinary body of artistic work, we use creativity as a tool to challenge dominant narratives, foster dialogue, and build more inclusive cultural landscapes.
Our work is a call to action: to rethink who gets to shape culture, to reclaim space for underrepresented stories, and to use creativity as a force for meaningful, lasting impact. Born out of a need for deeper community connection and tangible change, The Terrace builds on over two decades of creative collaboration through key partners including Afrofilms International and I’ll Tell You My Story.
